A very rare maker.
Most don’t know this and finding this maker with this configuration (solid nickel guards, a steel pommel nut and a painted scabbard with plated fittings) is frequently encountered with this maker.
A Model 1933 Schutzstaffel Dienstdolch by RZM 285/38 SS.
The blade on this one have many stain that looks to be on the surface and it probably can be cleaned and removed (but i cannot garantee).
The acid etched “Meine Ehre Heißt Treue” motto is dark like the early M33 models. the "2" on the “RZM 285/38 SS” SS contract number is completely removed, the "8" is 50% removed from previous cleaning (unfortunately).
The RZM logo is dark, which is uncommon (80% of that make came with light RZM logo).
The dagger comes with a nice leather hanger loop made by OLC, leather is solid.
a nice dagger !
